Bowman and the late Orville Redenbacher as a result of the purchase of George F. Chester & Sons Seed Company, Boone Grove, Indiana; Chester, Inc. has grown to be a company of great diversification. But the true success story of Chester, Inc. is measured not so much by growth, national recognition, quality service and products, but by the thousands of satisfied customers that we have had the opportunity to serve throughout the years.

Today, Chester serves those customers through the manufacture, sales, and service of products in agriculture, industry, commerce, and retail markets. These products and services are organized into three divisions.

Chester operates three divisions: Agricultural Systems (grain/irrigation systems and The Popcorn Store), Construction Services (Architectural Services and commercial/industrial construction), and Information Technologies (computer and network services).
